The recovery app your patients keep, connected to the chart both ways.
vPROMove is a patient-facing recovery app for behavioral health, secure two-way messaging with the care team, appointment scheduling, check-ins, milestones, and shared resources, connected to vPro EMR bidirectionally over a secure API, during treatment and after discharge.
Their app, their care team, one connection.
The patient carries their own recovery app, vPROMove, and vPro EMR connects to it both ways over a consent-gated, HIPAA-covered API. Move through the app below, or choose a feature to see what it does and how it reaches the care team.

Common questions
What is vPROMove?
vPROMove is the patient-facing side of vPro EMR, a recovery app the patient carries on their phone, with secure two-way messaging to their care team, appointments, daily check-ins, shared resources and their aftercare plan, milestones, and their own progress. It runs both during treatment and after discharge, and it is connected to the clinical record bidirectionally, so what the patient does in the app reaches the team and what the team shares reaches the patient.
Is it a separate app patients have to download from a store?
It is a progressive web app the patient claims through an invite, then installs to their home screen, no app store required. It has its own patient authentication (with one-time codes and trusted devices) and is scoped to the facility that invited them, so the experience is a real, secure personal app rather than a link that expires.
How does vPROMove connect to the EMR?
Through a secure, versioned HTTPS API with a Bearer key and webhooks. vPro EMR maintains a per-facility connection, managed from the system console and continuously health-monitored, that pushes updates to the app and pulls patient activity back, with a webhook so check-ins, replies, and engagement events arrive in near real time. It is a genuine bidirectional integration on vPROMove’s own HIPAA/BAA-covered database, not a screen embedded in the EMR.
What flows back to the care team?
Patient messages, daily check-ins and survey responses, and engagement events. A check-in reply is run through the suicidal-ideation and sentiment analyzer, and an elevated-risk result escalates to a coordinator rather than sitting unread. That activity also feeds the alumni engagement timeline and the outcomes picture, so a patient’s own words and actions become part of the documented course of care.
Does the patient stay in control of their own data?
Yes. vPROMove runs on its own HIPAA/BAA-covered infrastructure, outreach is consent-gated, and do-not-contact is honored across every channel. The journal is private by default and only an entry the patient chooses to share is ever visible to a coordinator, and the schedule and resources the patient sees are the ones the facility has deliberately shared. A patient controls their connection, the same do-no-harm posture that governs aftercare outreach elsewhere in vPro EMR.
